Informations about AlertPay
AlertPay, a privately owned and managed Canadian company founded in Montreal in 2004, is a rapidly growing leader in online payments. Notably, it offers a service with greater security than the American giant Paypal.
Here are a few explanations regarding the payment process:
If you do not have an AlertPay account, when you make your first payment, you will be invited to enter your personal information (name, address, credit card number). After validating your information, you must check the box “ I agree ... Terms of Services ” at the bottom of the second page, in order to complete the transaction.
After having completed your first payment, you will receive an email that will inform you that an AlertPay account has been created for you. You will be invited to log onto it in order to modify the password and to create an additional security code (PIN number). This account will accelerate your future payments, but you are not obliged to deposit money or register your credit card information. If, however, you are considering using this service frequently for our site, we would advise you to deposit money in your AlertPay account. By doing so, you will no longer need to pay using your credit card. This service is free for you, and the transaction charges will be less for us.
As a security precaution, AlertPay informs its clients that they must never reply to an email that invites you to enter your password in order to log onto your account. Such an email would be fraudulent (except for the initial validation email that you receive immediately after registering). As a general rule, it is not recommended to click directly on a hypertext link in an email.
