"SI DIEU LE VEULT!"
(IF GOD WILLS)

"We are building the new ark, one that is Catholic, classical, hierarchical, and human, where ideas will no longer be empty words, where institutions will not be shifting snares, where laws will not be robbery nor administration pillage and chaos, where only that which deserves to relive will relive; down with republics, up with royalty, and let the papacy reign over all!"

Charles Maurras
Letter to Pierre Boutang, 1951

"The restoration of ideas and of doctrines alone can prepare the restoration of the Christian monarchy. The phalange of today will soon become an army which will gain the final victory if it does not hesitate to follow you to the very end of the truth where you have promised to lead it."

Comte de Chambord,
Letter to Lucien Brun, 1868

"The social question and social science were not born yesterday; at all times, the Church and the State, in happy accord, have raised up fruitful organisations to this end. The Church, which has never betrayed the happiness of the people by consenting to dubious alliances, does not have to free herself from the past; all that she needs is to take up again, with the help of genuine workers for a social restoration, the organisations shattered by the Revolution, and to adapt them, in the same Christian spirit that inspired them, to the new environment arising from the material development of today’s society.

"Indeed, the true friends of the people are neither revolutionaries nor innovators, they are traditionalists."

Saint Pius X,
Letter on the Sillon, 25 August 1910

Between the people and the Ideal there needs to be the mediation of a dedicated, militant aristocracy. This mediation is needed between the faithful and the hierarchy for the service of the Church, between the citizens of a great nation and its monarchy for the wellbeing of the country, and between social classes to weld them together and reconcile them for their own common good. Such will be the Phalanx of our hopes.

A great tradition of dedication to the cause of Jesus Christ, Christendom, France and human civilisation, is being called to rebirth by the calamities of our time.

In the footsteps of

the Apostles,
the martyrs and monks of the West,
the military nobility and the soldiers of Saint Joan of Arc,
the Knights of the royal Orders of Saint Louis and of the Holy Spirit,
the Society of the Blessed Sacrament,
the Vendéens and Chouans,
the old legitimist and social right,
the pontifical Zouaves,
the Catholic missionaries and colonisers such as Father Charles de Foucauld,
Action Française and the "Camelots du roi",
the French Legion of combatants,
the youth work-camps of Marshal Petain,
and our elder soldiers of Indo China and French Algeria.

One day there will arise phalanxes from every nation and from every class for the renaissance of the Church and the salvation of the world. Their action will necessarily take its inspiration from the heritage of wisdom summarised in our 150 Points; it will be inspired by the Catholic religion, Action française, and the communitarian life. People may say what they wish, but nothing will be reconstructed outside of or counter to these principles which we hold from our fathers.
