TEN LIES AGAINST FATIMA The publication of the Third Secret of Fatima on 26 June 2000 was preceded and accompanied by a media campaign orchestrated by the Vatican. The aim was to deprive the Secret of its impact by burying it under a cloak of errors, falsifications and untruths propagated in order to reassure and at the same time disorientate every sector of public opinion. Let us review these statements:
«The message of a private revelation is a help which is offered, but which one is not obliged to use», writes Cardinal Ratzinger in his “Theological Commentary” on the Secret. As though the authorities of Holy Church had no duty or obligation to satisfy the wishes of the Heart of God and the demands of Heaven! In his Book of accusation for heresy against the Author of the so-called Catechism of the Catholic Church, deposited with the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith on 13 May 1993, our Father recalled : «Among the attributes of the Catholic Magisterium is the power and duty of exercising discernment on revelations incorrectly termed “private”. But having recognised them as “authentic”, in both their supernatural facts and error-free doctrine, the Magisterium is not at liberty to place them beneath its own authority and pastoral power in order to ignore them or fight against them. Its office is to study their truth and reality and not to decide whether or not they are opportune or in the interests of the Church. Whatever is from Heaven imposes itself on all.» (Book of accusation, English CRC no 257, April 1993, p. 5)
According to Cardinal Ratzinger: the images and forms contemplated by the three seers of Fatima were simply “interior or imaginative visions”; they were not «located spatially, as is the case for example with a tree or a house» (Theological Commentary on the Secret). Thus, Cardinal Ratzinger does not locate the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima in space. It should also be said that he does not locate them in time either: did he not one day declare – it was in 1985 – that Fatima is an apparition of the nineteenth century! The testimonies of the three little shepherds show, on the contrary, that they were real and objective apparitions of a living body, perceived by the seers as exterior to them. And the numerous members of the faithful present at the Cova da Iria during the apparitions contemplated with amazement the physical signs of the arrival and presence of the Virgin Mary in Her glorious body.
Third lie: Cardinal Ratzinger insinuates that the visions of the Third Secret might merely be Lucy’s fabrications, based on reminiscences from her childish devotions. «The concluding part of the Secret», he writes, «uses images which Lucy may have seen in devotional books and which draw their inspiration from long-standing intuitions of faith.» Sister Lucy was privileged to be directed, at least until she entered the Carmel, by a succession of priests whose intelligence, supernatural wisdom, spirit of discernment, and often even personal holiness were acknowledged by all. However, none of these ecclesiastics ever doubted the authenticity of the apparitions and heavenly communications she had enjoyed. Let us quote the testimony of Canon Formigao: «Every one of the seer’s replies, every one of her statements, so conspicuously brings out the sincerity of her declarations, the truthfulness of her deposition. She expresses herself with a serenity, a tranquillity, a simplicity, a tone of firmness and deep inner conviction, and at the same time with such great humility, as though she were discussing things which did not concern her, that her deposition left nothing to be desired and was in no way inferior, on any point at all, to that of Blessed Bernadette Soubirous, the angelic seer of Lourdes, at the canonical process carried out by order of Mgr Laurence, Bishop of Tarbes.» (Processo canonico diocesano, Santuario de Fatima, 1999, p. 207) In short, Cardinal Ratzinger’s suspicions and scepticism are unjustified and indefensible, and therefore abhorrent. This first collection of errors, repeated by all who like to think of themselves as rational but whose minds are darkened by modernism, leads to a complete severing of relations between Heaven and earth. But since there still exist innocent, fervent and reactionary souls, who have preserved – despite everything! – their devotion to Our Lady of Fatima, here, to disorientate them, is a second collection of falsifications and omissions which constitute a travesty of the message of Fatima in itself.
In the introduction to the Roman dossier of 26 June 2000, Mgr Bertone, the Secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, claims that the collegial consecration of Russia was performed by Pope John Paul II on 25 March 1984. «Hence any further discussion or request is without basis.» Mgr Bertone advances only one argument in support of his thesis: «Sister Lucy personally confirmed that this solemn and universal act of consecration corresponded to what Our Lady wished (“Sim, està feita, tal como Nossa Senhora a pediu, desde o dia 25 de Março de 1984. Yes it has been done just as Our Lady asked, on 25 March 1984”: letter of 8 November 1989).» The seer’s testimony has been falsified. The Catholic Counter-Reformation, let us recall, opposed this indoctrination campaign more than ten years ago by denouncing the machinations of its instigators. It was the first periodical in the world to publish this letter of 8 November 1989 addressed to Walter N Noekler, as well as others published around the same time, immediately demonstrating through internal criticism its apocryphal and therefore mendacious character. Let us quote from our conclusion, dated May 1990: «In this letter, Our Lady’s great request concerning Russia is obscured and the entire message of Fatima is travestied. Once again we are in the presence of a forgery. Yes, such is our conviction. These letters attributed to Sister Lucy and addressed to Maria de Belem, the Rev Fr Leonard, Walter N Noekler, and the magazine 30 DAYS, are forgeries doubtless fabricated under the aegis of the highest Roman authorities.» (English CRC no 229, May 1990, p. 12)
Fifth lie, a lie of omission: in the Roman dossier of 26 June, the apparitions and the request made by Our Lady at Pontevedra that the reparatory devotion of the Five First Saturdays of the month be approved since the divine gift of peace is dependent on this, are completely obscured. Alas! there is nothing new in this. For seventy-five years Rome has haughtily continued to ignore these apparitions. Father Simonin, who would never allow himself the least criticism of HH Pope John Paul II, declared his astonishment at this in 1985: «In addition to the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Sister Lucy asked, on behalf of the Virgin, that the Holy Father approve the devotion of the First Saturdays of the month. This has not yet been done, it must be said, by any Pope so far, and we do not know why.» (Quoted in the English CRC no 226, February 1990, p. 8) Father Simonin could not conceive that the Holy Father might have been deceived and led astray by the perfidious theories of the likes of Father Dhanis.
Sixth lie, concerning the date of the disclosure of the Third Secret. In the account of his conversation on 27 April 2000 with Sister Lucy, Mgr Bertone attributes the following reply to her: «It was not Our Lady but I who fixed the date, because I had the intuition that before 1960 it would not be understood, but that only later would it be understood. Now it can be better understood.» It is difficult to believe that Lucy spoke of her «intuition», particularly as she would thus have contradicted word for word what she has constantly affirmed. Canon Barthas wrote in 1952: «“When will the third element of the Secret be disclosed to us?” Already in 1946, in answer to this question, Lucy and Mgr de Leiria had both given me an identical answer without hesitation or further comment: “IN 1960.” And when I was bold enough to ask why it was necessary to wait until then, the only reply I received from either of them was: “BECAUSE THE BLESSED VIRGIN WISHES IT SO.”» (Fatima, merveille du XXe siècle, p. 83)
To appease the modernist sect and to disorientate the most faithful of Our Lady’s devotees, Mr Navarro-Valls, the Vatican spin doctor, announced on 21 May 2000 that the revelation of the Secret would serve to repudiate «anti-ecumenical traditionalism». This was tantamount to declaring that the Third Secret would contradict the Second: «If my requests are heeded, Russia will be converted and there will be peace.» To want “to convert Russia” is clearly to fly in the face of the “Ecumenical Movement” which began outside and in opposition to the Church of Rome at the Congress of Stockholm in 1925 and was condemned by both Pius XI and Pius XII. According to this Protestant ecumenism, suddenly declared to have come from the Holy Spirit from the time of Vatican II, the “separate Churches and Christian communions” are regarded as so many disunited members of a single mystical Body. This Body has been apparently been splintered and needs to be reconstituted by everyone making the effort to be converted and to be reconciled with one another on a basis of equality without winners or losers. But this is not what the Blessed Virgin wants! The message of Fatima is unambiguous: «You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish in the world devotion to My Immaculate Heart. If one does what I am going to tell you, many souls will be saved and there will be peace.» But “One” refused: from Pius XI to John Paul II, the Holy Father refused to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The result is there for all to see, the fruit of the ecumenical decree Unitatis redintegratio, promulgated by Vatican Council II: an immense disintegration, a field of ruins! Now, the publication of the Third Secret revealed what was foretold: Our Lady had shown Lucy, Francisco and Jacinta in advance, on Friday 13 July 1917, «a large city half in ruins».
Eighth lie: the Third Secret relates exclusively to an era in the past. «First of all (!)», writes Cardinal Ratzinger, «we must (!) affirm (!) with Cardinal Sodano: “The events to which the third part of the Secret of Fatima refers now (!) seem (!) to belong to the past.” Insofar as individual events are described, they now belong to the past.» One would have to be struck blind not to see in the heavenly vision of the Third Secret the footage of our terrifying today. Are not the flames emitted by the exterminating Angel’s «sword of fire» these wars proliferating from one end of the world to the other, in Africa, Asia, South America, the Balkans and Palestine, threatening to set the whole globe ablaze? However, the remedy is before us. The Vision of the Third Secret places it right under our eyes: these flames «were extinguished on contact with the brilliant light that Our Lady radiated against them with Her right hand». In order to save numerous souls and to obtain peace, it is necessary and sufficient for the Holy Father to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and to recommend the reparatory Communion of the First Saturdays. But for this, it is necessary to possess the faith.
Ninth lie, one that is quite breathtaking, for it is murderous: John Paul II is himself supposed to be the «Bishop dressed in White» contemplated on 13 July 1917 by the three little shepherds «in an immense light that is God»; he is supposed to be Our Lady’s chosen one, although from the beginning of his pontificate he has continually scorned Her requests! To make this interpretation credible, the Cardinal Secretary of State, in his communication of 13 May 2000, mutilated the authentic text of the Secret: the «Bishop dressed in White» who is «killed», in his “false secret” «falls to the ground apparently (sic) dead». As for Cardinal Ratzinger, he writes: « When, after the attempted assassination on 13 May 1981, the Holy Father had the text of the third part of the “secret” brought to him, was it not inevitable that he should see in it his own fate? He had been very close (sic) to death, and he himself explained his survival in the following words: “It was a mother’s hand that guided the bullet’s path and in his throes the Pope halted at the threshold of death.” (13 May 1994). That here “a mother’s hand” had deflected the fateful bullet only shows once more that there is no immutable destiny, that faith and prayer are forces which can influence history and that in the end prayer is more powerful than bullets and faith more powerful than armies.» What connection is there with the events announced in the vision? None. The proof: Mgr Dziwisz in his panegyric of John Paul II quoted above, makes not the slightest allusion to the Third Secret. According to him, the Pope is both a «martyr» and one who has been saved miraculously by the Virgin. He has no use for a prophecy announcing a real death, particularly one that proves so elusive! The incontrovertible truth is that the only Pope martyr of the twentieth century fulfilling the vision of 13 July 1917 is our beloved John Paul I, so curiously expunged from the world of the living by Cardinal Ratzinger at the time of his pilgrimage to Fatima in October 1996 (Resurrection no 3, March 2001, p. 2). As for the Roman dossier of 26 June 2000, it lists the Popes of the twentieth century: Pius X, Benedict XV, Pius XI, Pius XII, John XXIII, Paul VI, John Paul II. Only one pope is missing: John Paul I ! “Killed” a second time! Why this intense desire to make us forget John Paul I? What hidden agenda lies behind this? Mgr Loris Capovilla, who was John XXIII’s private adviser, was imprudent enough to lift the veil. He immediately took back what he had said, but it was too late. The day after Cardinal Sodano’s declaration on 15 May 2000 announcing the disclosure of the Third Secret and revealing some of its contents, Corriere della Sera published a confidence made by Mgr Capovilla, «bishop emeritus of Loreto, one of only four people alive who have read the document kept for forty years in the files of the ex-Holy Office: In the text of the Third Secret of Fatima, John Paul I, Pope Albino Luciani, who had died in 1978 after only a few weeks in the papacy, had read a certain prophecy which apparently related to him.» The story of the Way of the Cross presented by Mgr Felici, recounted by our Father in the CRC for September 1978, has a sequel: it shows Albino Luciani walking towards the «large Cross of rough trunks» of the Third Secret in full knowledge of the situation. Shortly after his election, John Paul I told Cardinal Felici that he had placed the Way of the Cross on his table and added: «It has already begun.» The cardinal remarked that above the small Via crucis could be seen the risen and triumphant Christ. «Yes, he answered, but only after death.» (Osservatore romano, Italian edition, 28 September 1980) It seems that certain personal friends of Albino Luciani, the Pope of Mary’s Secret, were privately informed of the tragedy that was taking shape: «There are things», he said to Mgr Girolamo Bartolomeo Bortignon,
Bishop of Padua, «which I will take with me to the grave.» (quoted by

Messaggero, Padua, 1988, p. 223) But with the disclosure of the Third
Secret, it is the Virgin Mary Herself who has revealed to us the martyrdom
of Her chosen one, that he might be recognized and venerated as She
wants!
Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary has been entirely obscured by Pope John Paul II who, according to his motto “Totus tuus”, nevertheless professes to be «totally devoted» to Her. Thus, in his homily for the beatification of the seers on 13 May 2000, the Pope ignores the bountiful source of the graces which so rapidly sanctified the blessed little shepherds. We find the same omission in his ACT OF ENTRUSTMENT TO MARY on 8 October 2000. Thus he despises the dearest desire of our God who has tied the salvation of souls and of the world to devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, according to Sister Lucy’s constant affirmation: «In our present times, it is this devotion that will save us.» The most Blessed Virgin Mary, our Queen and Sovereign – to whom is entrusted God’s judgement upon us for as long as the ecclesiastical judges and the Roman Judge himself stubbornly deny us justice – revealed to us on 13 July 1917 everything that was necessary to souls for their eternal salvation, to the nations for their temporal salvation, and to the Church for her victory over the powers of hell unleashed in the world. The first thing She showed these three young children was hell. This vision condemns on its own the humanistic optimism of Pope John Paul II. It reveals the poison this contains for souls. But our good Mother in Heaven immediately offers the antidote: devotion to Her Immaculate Heart, a reparatory devotion, in accordance with the prayer of the Angel who acted as the Virgin’s precursor: «I ask of Thee pardon for those who do not believe, who do not adore, who do not hope and who do not love Thee!» To this sovereign remedy the Holy Father has continually turned his back, looking instead towards Jews, Communists and liberals, Anglicans and Orthodox, pursuing his chimera of a world in which the various religions are supposed to form a single “Movement for the Spiritual Animation of Universal Democracy”, one great united MASDU, masonic, socialist and Christian. Only yesterday, at the conclusion of the seventh meeting of the Islamic-Catholic Liaison Committee, which took place in Rome on 4-5 July on the theme “Religion and dialogue between civilizations at a time of globalisation”, the final statement proclaims: «The importance of dialogue between civilizations to ensure mutual knowledge and joint commitment to peace and harmony, in order to protect human societies from disaster, poverty or moral degradation, rejecting the thesis which regards confrontation between civilizations and social conflict as inevitable.» Against this vain project, only one promise sustains our hope and inflames our hearts with a holy love: «In the end My Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy Father will consecrate Russia to Me, and she will be converted and a certain period of peace will be given to the world.» The sudden restoration of the Church will come about through the grace of the Immaculate. She will overcome the forces of hell, She will crush the head of the serpent, She will give the world back to Jesus Christ, and He Himself will offer it to His Father. Brother Bruno of Jesus |
