HE IS RISEN!

He will return with his immense heart, with his heart of fire, his poor man's soul
and his smile. He will return! And the Immaculate Heart of Mary will triumph!

IT IS SISTER LUCY
WHO MUST BE CANONISED “SUBITO”

Pope Benedict XVI celebrated the second anniversary of John Paul II’s death with words void of any ambiguity: « With this celebration, let us first of all renew our thanksgiving to God for having given him to us for well near twenty-seven years as a father and reliable guide in the Faith, a zealous pastor and courageous prophet of hope, a tireless witness and passionate servant of God’s love. »

After that, would we still be so bold as to call into question John Paul II’s virtue of faith, hope and charity as we did in the “report” that we addressed to the postulator of the cause as a contribution to the process of beatification of the said “Servant of God” (The Trial Finally Opened! He is Risen no 37, September 2005, pp. 5-20)? Certainly, and our opposition is more necessary than ever! This pontifical homily on 2 April cannot take the place of a judgement rendered in a trial, which is, by definition, given after due hearing of the parties pro and contra, and our objections remain intact. For us to renounce contesting John Paul II’s reputation of holiness, Benedict XVI would have to sit on his cathedra in order to define solemnly that the following propositions are part of the Catholic Faith:

1o « The royal function of Jesus is not first to exercise dominion over others; it is a manifestation of the kingly character of man. »

2o « This kingly character is embedded within human nature, within the structure of the human personality. »

These propositions, which are taken from the Dialogue with André Frossard recorded in N’ayez pas peur (Be not afraid), are in fact so new and extraordinary that to make us admit them as Catholic teaching, Benedict XVI will have to resort to his extraordinary Magisterium.

In the meanwhile, we legitimately consider them heretical, schismatic and scandalous.

The same goes for this affirmation taken from paragraph 22 of the conciliar Constitution Gaudium et spes according to which « by His incarnation the Son of God has united Himself in some fashion with every man ». This sentence on its own, which was introduced to the Council at the proposal of Mgr Wojtyla, shows that the Archbishop of Cracow confused nature and grace, human life and divine life, the one being “in some fashion” present in the other according to him, in everyone and for ever, as he clearly states in the encyclical Redemptor hominis, in which the reference to Gaudium et spes 22, 2, is repeated four times: « Christ is in some fashion united with each man without any exception whatever, even when he is unaware of it. » (n14)

As for the alleged “miracle” that came at the opportune moment to underscore the diocesan inquiry, it is forced on the credulity of the masses without the slightest respect for the elementary rules of prudence, which prevail, for example, at Lourdes’ Medical Bureau. Why this haste? For a very simple reason: in order that the end of the inquiry in Aix-en-Provence on the “miracle” coincide with the conclusion of the diocesan inquiry in Rome “on the life, virtues, and reputation for holiness” of John Paul II.

A providential “coincidence” or clever orchestration? If it is God who has willed it, the Abbé de Nantes has been nonsuited. Moreover, Mgr Feidt recalls this affirmation found in the Constitution Lumen Gentium, according to which « miracles confirm that the Kingdom has arrived on earth ».

Thus, the case had been judged before evidence has been heard!

This is to forget that before any medical observations, it is the doctrine that distinguishes between the true and false miracle and not the contrary. Let us recall the famous example of Marguerite Périer, the niece of Blaise Pascal, in the seventeenth century: after having been truly cured of a fistula lacrymalis after being touched by a thorn from the Crown of Thorns, the Jansenists, who needed a miracle to justify their doctrine, took advantage of this show of divine benevolence towards them and imposed it as a sign of truth. « Thus, God is Jansenist. » (Georges de Nantes, CRC n79, p. 12) Obviously not! Therefore, prudence, wisdom, and attachment to the truth would require that one not speak of a miracle before the doctrinal judgement on the teachings of the servant of God Karol Wojtyla.

Now, in the press conference that he gave on 27 March, Mgr Oder, the postulator of the cause, mentioned a “theologians’ manifesto” that expressed protests concerning the teaching of John Paul II, and not his person, he stressed. « In this sense, they were heard, but they do not have an effect upon this trial. » Thus, according to Mgr Oder, even if the late Pope was heretical in this world, that does not prevent him from being blessed in the other!

The last straw is that in the eyes of the postulator, the sole fact that the Abbé de Nantes accuses John Paul II of heresy, schism, and scandal, proves his holiness, subito! Because Jesus said, he explains, « Happy are you when people speak all kinds of calumny against you » Yet, when a man is the object of idolatry by the whole world – with the exception of the Abbé de Nantes – an idolatry of which the homily of 2 April is but the expression, the alleged blessing is rather changed into a curse, if we are to believe Our Lord: « Alas for you when the world speaks well of you! This was the way their fathers treated the false prophets. » (Lk 6.26)

Precisely! The doctrine of John Paul II, which was based on errors against the Faith, turned Christian hope away from the Kingdom of God in order to appeal for the construction of a new world on the occasion of the third millennium: a world of peace through universal democracy for which the Church would be the spiritual animator.

Objecting to « theprophets of woe”, ready to see catastrophes everywhere », John Paul II paid homage to « the prestigious objectives that were reached » as so many « moments on the road of man at the threshold of the year 2000 »: the conquest of space, nuclear energy, genetics, computer science, robotics (discourse at Camerino, 19 March 1991)…

All of these conquests, according to the aforesaid Servant of God, lead the Church to realise « that she is living a phase that is among the most innovative of history », owing to the extension of the « very concept of culture ». Now, as man must nourish himself not only from the « bread earned through the work of his hands… but also through the bread of science and progress, of civilisation and culture » (Laborem exercens, 1), in this profusion of « forms of multicultural societies that go beyond the traditional geographical and political borders », the Church has only one thought: « In the light of God, to assert the primacy of man! »

By replacing « all the words that proceed from the mouth of God », by science, progress, civilisation and culture, John Paul II shows that his “religion” is reduced to the sole cultural function of contribution to the service of man who makes himself God…

It is tragic, then, because God is not to be mocked – He wants to affirm « the primacy » of His Holy and Divine Mother by establishing in the word devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Such is His good pleasure.

Brother Francis’ book, Fatima, the Salvation of the World, which will come out next 13 May [French edition only], relates this formidable bone of contention that for almost a century has opposed five Popes to the Queen of Heaven, in the person of Her messenger, Sister Mary-Lucy of Jesus and of the Immaculate Heart.

SISTER LUCY AND JOHN PAUL I

In October 2006, the film Pope Luciani, the Smile of God, revealed to more than ten million Italian television viewers the prophesies of the seer of Fatima concerning Cardinal Albino Luciani and the tragedy of his brief pontificate.

Three days after broadcasting this film, Cardinal Bertone, Secretary of State, formally denied its revelations. Now, the review Thirty Days has just come to his rescue by publishing a conversation with Don Mario Senigaglia, Cardinal Luciani’s former secretary, who rises up against this alleged « twaddle » that is being spread by… Read what he says:

« It is said that the seer had greeted Patriarch Luciani by calling him Most Holy Father”. It is also said that she had predicted that his pontificate would be brief and that the patriarch came out of this conversation overwhelmed. It is said… It is easy to lay hold of these it is saidin order to depict Mgr Luciani as a man obsessed by this prophecy, racked by this shadowy business hidden between the lines of the Third Secret. » (Stefania Falasca, “This Encounter in Fatima”, Thirty Days, 2007, n1, p. 38)

This it is said” discredits perfectly credible witnesses: Don Diego Lorenzi, the cardinal’s secretary in 1977, Luisa Vannini, Ugo Padoan, who accompanied him to the Carmel of Coimbra on 11 July 1977, Cardinal Sin, Don Germano Pattaro, Edoardo Luciani and his wife.

Don Senigaglia misrepresents Edoardo’s testimony. The journalist from Thirty Days asks him this, in fact:

« Luciani told his brother that he had met with Sister Lucy and, seeing that he was disturbed, Edoardo related these facts to predictions that the nun would have confided to him about his future… »

– These are impressions, hypotheses, personal deductions that Edoardo expressed immediately after his brother’s death, and for which I cannot vouch. Luciani had only told him that he had met Sister Lucy. He said nothing more. » Really?

Let us re-establish the truth:

« In February 1978, at the beginning of Lent, he came to preach in his birthplace, the village of Canale d’Agordo. His brother Edoardo and his sister-in-law, with whom he was staying, noticed how absorbed he seemed, how worried and impenetrable. On 27 February, at dinner, his sister-in-law remarked that he was very pale and seemed distressed. He excused himself, picked up his breviary and, without any explanation, retired to his room. The following evening he displayed the same indisposition. Mrs. Luciani asked him whether the food she was serving him was the cause. The Cardinal answered: “I was thinking about what Sister Lucy told me at Coimbra.” » (John Paul I, The Pope of the Secret, Chapter 8; http://www.crc-internet.org/JP1/Fatima4.htm)

Thus, certain words of the seer profoundly overwhelmed and troubled him. Of course, the Marquess Olga do Cadaval, who acted as interpreter did not reveal all the contents of Sister Lucy’s conversation with the patriarch because, seeing that the latter understood Portuguese, she « slipped away as soon as the conversation became a little too private », she explained personally to Brother Francis.

Nevertheless, when Albino Luciani became Pope John Paul I he confided to Don Germano Pattaro:

« It is something that has troubled me this whole year. It has robbed me of my spiritual peace and tranquillity. Ever since that pilgrimage, I have never forgotten Fatima. What Sister Lucy told me has become a weight on my heart. I sought to convince myself that it was all an illusion. I prayed to forget about it. I would like to have shared all this with someone close to me, with my brother Edoardo, but I never managed to. The thought was just too huge, too embarrassing, too contrary to my whole being. It was unthinkable, and yet Sister Lucy’s prediction has turned out to be true. Here I am. I am Pope.

« It is repugnant to me to speak of these things, but I do it in order to open my soul to you, to confide to you that I never wanted to become Pope.

« If I live, I shall return to Fatima to consecrate the world and particularly the peoples of Russia to the Blessed Virgin, in accordance with the instructions She gave to Sister Lucy. » (ibid., Chapter 9)

Assuredly, Cardinal Luciani did not share any confidence with Don Senigaglia. He was dismissed from his post in 1976, one year before the patriarch met with Sister Lucy; Don Senigaglia today misrepresents his thinking, for example when he declares: « The cardinal wrote that revelations, even if they are approved, are not articles of faith, that one can think whatever he wants without harming his own faith. »

In reality, the cardinal said quite the opposite when he reacted with subtlety and humour precisely against this contempt for recognised revelations:

« At this point someone might ask me: “But should a cardinal be interested in private revelations? Do you not know that everything is in the Gospel? That revelations, even though approved, are not articles of faith?” I know it only too well. But there is also, in the Gospel, an article of faith that says: Signs will accompany those who believe. (Mk 16.17) Today it is fashionable to examine these “signs of the times”, so much so that that we are now witnessing a proliferation, indeed an epidemic of these “signs of the times”. So I believe we are permitted to recall (with a human faith) this “sign” of 13 October 1917 [namely, the miracle of the sun], which was even confirmed by anticlericals and unbelievers. And, looking beyond this sign, it is opportune to reflect on the things it brings to mind. » (John Paul I, The Pope of the Secret, Chapter 8)

Let us compare the January 2007 issue of Thirty Days with the better informed September 1993 issue: « From the beginning to the end of the meeting, Sister Lucy addressed Cardinal Luciani by calling him Holy Father”. » (Andrea Tornielli, p. 27)

The review Humilitas of October 2005 confirms this testimony by publishing that of Ugo Padoan: « It was a great joy for me to serve the Mass of His Eminence in the chapel of the Carmel of Coimbra. At the end of the celebration, the patriarch retired to speak with Sister Lucy.

« It was lunch hour. A room reserved in the restaurant awaited us. As His Eminence was questioned aloud from all sides, he declared: This sister continually called me Your Holiness; and the more I told her that I was only a simple cardinal, the more she addressed me with a great respect, bowing before me and calling me His Holiness!” »

Ugo Padoan concludes: « Sister Lucy was a prophet by calling him Your Holiness. »

Assuredly, Sister Lucy was a prophet. One of her spiritual directors, Fr. Aparicio, wrote in 1939: « The way that Sister Lucy affirms and prognosticates events impressed me. She has no doubt, and she speaks categorically as someone who sees future events. I even think that Our Lady makes them known to her. »

From Pius XI to John Paul II, the Popes have never accepted it: no, a nun had no advice to give them on the life and the governance of the Church!

SISTER LUCY AND JOHN PAUL II

The apparitions of the angelic herald in 1916 and of the Blessed Virgin at Fatima in 1917, at Pontevedra in 1925 and at Tuy in 1929, constitute the most important Marian epiphany in the entire history of the Church.

The Blessed Virgin came to ask that we recite the Rosary every day, that the Holy Father consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart, after ordering the bishops to do so with him, and that he deign to recommend the reparatory devotion of the five First Saturdays of the month. By these « little demands », Our Lady recalled the necessity of belonging to the Catholic Church in order to be saved by the mediation of Her Immaculate Heart, as well as the sovereign and universal authority of the Vicar of Jesus Christ, and the existence of Heaven and Hell.

In short, our religion in full!

But the thoughts of John Paul II ran contrary to those of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The late Pope wished the reconciliation of the « separated Churches of the East and the West » and not the « conversion » of Russia to Roman Catholicism, since his great plan was to unite all denominations and religions on equal terms, without letting the Catholic Church exercise any superiority over “the others”.

Pope John Paul II thus remained deaf to all petitions from the devotees of Fatima until Wednesday, 13 May 1981, when he was the victim of an assassination attempt.

The Abbé de Nantes drew the lesson immediately:

« Until that mysterious blow that brought things to a standstill on 13 May, Pope John Paul II had been clearly and continually manifesting his connivance with the post-conciliar and Montinian Church’s general tendency in accepting the world-wide fact of Communism, of coming to an understanding, dialoguing and co-operating with it on all fronts, Catholics and Communists together. There is at least one person in the world who wanted it to stop. I am thinking of that august Person to whom the world’s salvation has been entrusted and who already, on a certain 13 May 1917, came to announce in advance Communism as the great Satanic abomination of our 20th century. » (CCR n° 136, July)

John Paul II did not understand the lesson. He had the Third Secret brought to him, read it, and sent it back to the archives. The following year he went on a pilgrimage of thanksgiving to Fatima. To the throng that was hoping that the Secret would be divulged, he quipped: « Do you want me to tell you a secret…? It is quite simple and it is no longer a secret: Pray much, say the rosary every day.” »

The only thing that had never been a secret!

In his preaching during this pilgrimage, not only did he not give approval to the reparatory devotion but he turned the faithful away from it by truncating the formula of its reparatory intention that Our Lady taught the children: « Let us offer our sacrifices in union with Christ the Redeemer and let us repeat in an expiatory and propitiatory prayer of our souls: Lord Jesus, it is for love of Thee, in reparation for sins, and for the conversion of sinners.” » One could not manifest more clearly his disapproval of the prayer taught by the Blessed Virgin « in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary and for the conversion of poor sinners. »

As for the consecration of Russia, John Paul II indicated his intention to « accomplish once again what my predecessors have already done: entrust the world to the heart of the Mother ». Under the title “The Supreme Deception”, the Abbé de Nantes commented on the event:

« The worst of it is that he wanted to make the good think that he was doing all that was necessary, all that was humanly possible, and all that supernatural prudence inspired him to do, whilst he showed the bad that he was not taken in by the fatimist legends, stories and hysteria, that he required no one to believe in them and asked no effort from anyone. »

As for Sister Lucy, she pointed out that, in keeping with the words of Our Lord, during the revelation of Rianjo, in 1931, His ministers did not want to listen to His demand; they were delaying its execution. The day after her meeting with John Paul II, she met with Mgr Hnilica, Fr. Sebastian Labo, Don Luigi Bianchi, and the Provincial of the Carmelites in the parlour of the Carmel of Fatima:

« Sister, asked Don Luigi Bianchi, in his act of offering yesterday, did the Pope really consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary? » With her index finger, Sister Lucy made a gesture of denial. Then with both hands, she indicated the shape of the globe explaining that, for the request of Our Lady to be fulfilled, it is necessary for each bishop in his own cathedral to make a public and solemn act of consecration. She remarked that Russia had not been the object of the consecration. God, however, wanted « the consecration of Russia and uniquely of Russia, without any addition »; she insisted, for « Russia is an immense, well defined territory, and its conversion will attract attention, and thus manifest what can be obtained through consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary ».

Nevertheless, since Sister Lucy once again bore witness to the desires of Heaven and Mgr Beltritti, the Patriarch of Jerusalem, recalled them to the bishops of the synod of 1983, John Paul II made the decision to write on 8 December 1983 to the bishops of the entire world, to inform them of the ceremony that would take place at Rome on 25 March 1984 so that they could, on that day, « renew » with him the consecration: « The words of the text that I am sending to you correspond, with some slight modifications, to those that I pronounced at Fatima on 13 May 1982. » Assuredly, some « slight », too « slight modifications »: the only addition was the mention of the jubilee year of the Redemption.

At the Carmel of Coimbra, on Thursday, 22 March 1984, Mrs. Pestana, her old friend, asked her: « Well then, Lucy, will the consecration be on Sunday? » The seer motioned “no” and declared:

« This consecration cannot have a decisive character » since « Russia did not appear clearly as the only object of the Consecration »

The announced “consecration” did take place on 25 March 1984, in Rome, in the square before Saint Peter’s basilica, before the statue of Our Lady of Fatima, which had been brought intentionally from the Capelinha, John Paul II read his “act of offering”, adding this supplication to it:

« Illuminate especially the peoples on behalf of whom You are awaiting our consecration and offering. »

That evening, when taking leave of Our Lady, he declared that he had wanted to consecrate « all peoples, especially those in so much need of this consecration, those peoples for whom You Yourself await our act of consecration, the act that entrusts them to You. ». In expressing himself thus, the Pope recognised that the Blessed Virgin Mary was still awaiting the consecration demanded. He conceded that his act of offering had not responded to the demands of Heaven.

Finally, in 1989, to have done with Fatima and the demands for the consecration of Russia that bothered him, John Paul II wanted Sister Lucy to stop saying that the act of offering of 25 March 1984 did not respond to the demands of Our Lady of Fatima. She was forced to maintain the contrary by an order of John Paul II that was transmitted to the seer by the intermediary of Cardinal Casaroli, Secretary of State (John Paul I, The Pope of the Secret, Chapter 11; http://www.crc-internet.org/JP1/Fatima4.htm)

There is something even more serious. On May 2000, on the occasion of the beatification of the two little seers, Francisco and Jacinta, John Paul II made public the third part of the Secret that had been concealed since 1960, but accompanied it by an appalling piece of stage craft that deprived this revelation of its saving effect for the Church and the world.

Even before its complete publication, Cardinal Sodano, the Secretary of State, gave, in the presence of the Pope, an official interpretation that reduced the Secret to the announcement of the attack of 13 May 1981. Six weeks later when the authentic text was unveiled, and when it became obvious that « the bishop dressed in White » could not be John Paul II because he had not been « killed », the event already no longer interested anyone.

The tragic state in which John Paul II left the Church is the fruit of his failings in the supernatural virtues of faith, hope and charity, and of the little importance that he attached to the demands of Heaven revealed at Fatima by the Virgin Mary. These irrefutable facts are insuperable obstacles to his beatification. On the other hand, since Sister Lucy received from Our Lady in Person the promise of going to Heaven, it is with good cause that the Portuguese have demanded her beatification “subito”.

« Shall I go to Heaven too?

– Yes, you will. » (13 May 1917)

The case is settled. As Cardinal Luciani used to say: « Sister Lucy is a cherished daughter of the Church. »

Brother Bruno of Jesus.
