CLOTHING CEREMONY
On this Lætare Sunday, 22 March, there was truly great jubilation in our houses since five postulants, two young men and three young women, received the holy habit in the presence of their five families gathered for the occasion. Some of them, however, had had to make a long trip since they came directly from Mexico!
As a sign of their new and eternal vocation, Joseph Blanchet will henceforth be among us Brother Joseph-Mary of Villemaur; Pablo Arnaus, Brother John Paul of Guadalupe; Hélène Lecoq, Sister Mary, Hope of Martyrs; Alix Moreau, Sister Alix of the Holy Wounds; Catherine de Nantes, Sister Blandina of Mary the Queen.
Since here below there is no joy without the Cross, for the first time our Father was unable to be present, as he had had to be rushed to the hospital in the night of 20 Friday to 21 Saturday. The whole history of the Church teaches us that the Cross is the seal of the works of God.
