Il est ressuscité !

APOCALYPTIC TIMES

What will 2009 be? I will tell you. It will be a year of grace for the purpose of doing penance in response to the call of the Angel who stood « at the left of Our Lady and a little higher up » in the vision of 13 July 1917, which John Paul II unveiled on 26 June 2000:

« At the left of Our Lady and a little higher up we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; it flashed and gave out flames that seemed as though they would set the world on fire; but they were extinguished on contact with the brilliant light that Our Lady sent toward him with Her right hand; pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: »

Penance, Penance, Penance! »

What does this mean? The Greek word métanoia, “conversion”, clarifies it. It is a question of turning away, by means of a “conversion”, from the « cult of man », which is an idolatry that Pope Paul VI proclaimed in St. Peter’s on 7 December 1965, and which the entire Church has practiced for more than forty years. This appalling apostasy must be abjured, and acts of devotion must be performed to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, to which our God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit wishes to establish devotion in the world so that « the souls of poor sinners » stop going to Hell, and that the world may experience « a certain period of peace ».

If not? Well then, Russia will continue to « spread her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions against the Church », in the Middle East, Vietnam, India, China, Africa, Colombia… for Russia has repented of nothing, as is shown in the book of the Russian political pundit, Natalia Narotchniskaïa, “What remains of our Victory? Russia-West: the Misunderstanding” (translated into French from Russian, Éditions des Syrtes, 2008). That is to say: the 1944 victory against Nazi Germany, which the author quite rightly attributes to Stalin . The question is: what « remains » under the reign of Putin - Medvedev?

« Yes, I defend the victory of the Communist USSR, although I have no sympathy for the revolution and all its demons: Lenin, Stalin, Trotsky… » (p. 29)

In the first chapter, the author explains this “patriotic” bias by ascending to a nationalist conception of the Homeland that dismisses the « liberals » of the so-called Western “free” world, which « advocates individual autonomy », on the one hand, and « the ultra-Communist “citizens of the world », on the other. She appeals to « the Christian conscience, in particular Orthodox » against both groups (p. 36).

This is precisely where Russia’s original “error” lies. This is what we have to understand. It is from this “error”, which is her schism, her age-old separation from Rome, that the Pope must first convert her by consecrating her to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Having said this, it is interesting to note that Natalia Narotchniskaïa clarifies this mixture of Russian Orthodox “integral nationalism”: not Catholic, not yet, but Christian – with a view that is similar to what we call “divine orthodromy”, which gives it remarkable strength:

« The Orthodox national conscience stems from the perception of historical continuity », in virtue of which the personal destiny of each individual is part of « the age-old history of the Homeland » and prepares « its future, beyond his own personal history. In this [national] sentiment [this “patriotism”], there is a transcending of pride, thus of the finality and the materiality of individual existence. Thus the individual perception of history goes beyond the framework of one life, manifesting in the national consciousness the immortal nature of the soul.

« It is precisely for this reason that Russians, who are fervent Orthodox believers in their souls, write (and think) the word Homelandwith a capital letter, which provokes the sneers of liberals.

« For a believer, the Homeland is a gift of God. » This is why one must « remain faithful to his Homeland and to its age-old national interests », even « when everything in the State gives rise to criticism and deception ». Quoting the Epistle of St. Paul to the Ephesians: « I kneel before the Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every homeland (patria) in Heaven and on earth takes its name » (Ep 3:14-15), the author concludes: « The perception of the Homeland is thus derived from the perception of the Heavenly Father. »

This « perception » is just as alien to the « liberals » for whom « the homeland is where one can live well » as it is to the « ultra-Communistcitizens of the world” » for whom « “proletarians have no homelandapart from Socialism. »

In this light, the author considers the modern history of Russia, her Homeland, with different eyes than those « of the first Bolsheviks who imagined world revolution in the cafes of Geneva and for whom Russia was a bundle of deadwoodin the great fire of planetary class struggle » (p. 43).

She does not accept either the fact that after « our victory » in May 1945, « Western historiography solidly and permanently stuck on Russian history the label of Soviet imperialism”. » (p. 56)

In her eyes, the modern history of Russia consists, well beyond the « demagogic speeches on the fight between Communism and democracy », of a struggle of the « liberal » West against all « historic renewal of Russia ».

The absolutely inspired key idea of this book consists in showing that « the tragedy of 1917 is recurring in this beginning of the twenty-first century » (p. 58).

On the eve of the World War I,  Russia, « with her access to the Baltic, her positions in the Straits of the Black Sea and her advance towards the Hindu Kush [present-day Afghanistan], thanks to the incorporation of central Asia, was about to become a geopolitical force equal to that of the West as a whole » (p. 64). This renascent power gave offence not only to Berlin and Vienna, but also to London: « Besides the chancellery of the Reich and the Austrian War Office, it was also the British Exchequer that began, in the middle of the war, to finance the Russian revolution. »

Thus it was that « the mortal enemies, England and Germany, simultaneously operated the same lever: the revolution in Russia. For this operation, Lloyd George and Lord Milner released twenty-one million roubles, according to the British Intelligence Service » When this revolution broke out and Russia « temporarily disintegrated, the alleged anti-Communist America welcomed this situation. Colonel House, President Wilson’s adviser and enigmatic alter ego, advised him to assure Russia of our sympathy for her efforts toward establishing there a solid democracy, and to grant her, by all possible means, his financial, industrial, and moral support.” » (p. 75-76)

Well! We are witnessing today the same effort to « dismember historical Russia » (p. 90) That is to say, Christian and tsarist Russia, which is recovering under Putin and Medvedev.

Now, we know that Heaven did not remain insensitive to « the tragedy of 1917 ». It descended to earth in the Person of the Mother of God in order to reveal the plans of God Her Son, regarding Russia. So, if « the tragedy of 1917 » is recurring at the beginning of the twenty-first century, the same message corresponds to it.

The author, however, is totally unaware of the meaning of World War II for want of penetrating the “secret” of the « tragedy of 1917 », a secret that was entrusted to three Portuguese children on 13 July of the same year.

Nevertheless, her analysis is so pertinent that she unknowingly ends up showing that the events very exactly corresponded to the Blessed Virgin’s announcements, by spreading Russia’s « errors », the direct or indirect consequences of the schism:

« To prevent this, I shall come to ask for the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart and the Communion of Reparation of the first Saturdays. If My requests are heeded, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If not, she will spread her errors throughout the world, provoking wars and persecutions against the Church. »

Today, to ask for the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary by Pope Benedict XVI is to ask for the impossible, not because of Russia, but because of the Pope! The popes have been the obstacle since 1960, since the Second Vatican Council under cover of which « the errors of Russia » spread throughout the world: not only the Marxist error, due to the “non aggression pact” concluded between Vatican and Moscow shortly before the Council, but also the error of Orthodoxy, which denies the infallible authority of Rome, due to the ecumenical pact sealed by the conciliar declaration on religious liberty.

Thus it is asking for a very big miracle to beseech the Blessed Virgin Mary to keep her promise: « In the end My Immaculate Heart will triumph. »

The miracle that is demanded is not so much Russia’s conversion as her consecration, because the miraculous conversion of Russia, which will be obtained by this means, will make the primacy of Peter experienced, not only by Russia, which has refused this primacy since the schism in 1448, but by the Catholic Church herself, which refuses this primacy, having transferred it to the “college” of bishops since Vatican II. As a result, liberalism and Bolshevism, as well as the Orthodox schism will be confounded, and by the mediation of Russia a certain time of peace will be granted to the world.

« While the ideological confrontation between the liberal West and its Communist challenger remains a theme of discussion within the framework of the same conception of the world, the restoring of the true historical and religious face of Russia makes her the representative of a different global project. » (p. 166)

Natalie Narotchniskaïa could not express it better.

While awaiting this « global project », which is nothing other than that of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, let us enter into action. There is war. So, let us pray:

« O Mary Immaculate, strong as an army in battle array, we entrust to you our valorous French soldiers.

« Watch over them in their difficult missions, protect them in combats, gather up their fatigue and their sufferings, and perhaps even the offering of their lives even unto martyrdom, in order that all that may serve to expiate France’s sins and serve the triumph of your Immaculate Heart, for the extension of the Reign of the Sacred Heart of Jesus over those countries dominated by Islam. Amen! »
